California Business Educators 2016 State Conference Announced

The California Business Education Association, Inc. (CBEA) announced it will be holding the 2016 State Conference this year in San Jose, California, at the San Jose Hilton Hotel.  The CBEA represents professionals involved in education for and about business, marketing, and related information technologies at all levels of education in public and private institutions.  Its central focus is to recognize, encourage, and promote excellence in business disciplines and to collaborate with other disciplines and other groups dedicated to this mission.

Teachers working in the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and Business and Finance (B&F) career sectors will find a natural affinity with CBEA because the Internet is now the infrastructure for business operations and business education provides a foundation for every career. In fact, over 30,000 students enroll in the ICT Office Systems and Technologies course and over 30,000 students enroll in the B&F Business Technology course each year. At the conference, high school and community college faculty can connect and discuss dual enrollment opportunities that will benefit their student’s career and college readiness.
